What is a Binge Eating Disorder?
Binge eating disorder is when an individual feels like they can't stop eating even when they are full. In some cases, these individuals could be obese or overweight, but they could also be a healthy weight. This type of disordered eating is detrimental because since it's only categorized as overeating, it can be hard to quantify as an outside individual what a healthy amount of food is for an individual in a manner that isn't judgemental.

Binge eating is different from bulimia because bulimics overeat and then purge to get rid of the food they just ate. While individuals with a binge eating disorder do not purge, they only overeat in a cycle of constant eating.
